Stewardship Committee

The Stewardship Committee of Christ the Redeemer Parish is made up of representatives from each of the Parishes sub-committees. These persons are nominated by the Parish Priest and appointed by His Excellency. This committee is committed to the governance of the parish and its financials and all Parish Projects that fall within its framework.

Communications Team

The Communication Team of Christ the Redeemer Parish is responsible for communicating upcoming events to our Parishioners via our Parish App, Website and Social media; and is responsible for creating engaging content for our App and Socials. If you have a talent for Graphic design, content creation or communications in general, step up and join the team today!

Music Ministry

Building and Maintenance

Our Building and Maintenance committee work hard to keep all of our areas available and maintained for our entire parish to use. If you think you can lend a hand and would like to be part of this committee, register your interest today.

Community and Fundraising Committee

As we look to continue to gather our Community and build our Parish home and Community Facilities the members of the Community and Fundraising Committee plan and Organise Events with a Community as well as a Fundraising focus.

CTR Ladies Committee

The Ladies Committee have held Monthly Prayer and Brunch mornings, bake and run our monthly Sunday Cake Stall as well as arrange and host our annual Mothers’ Day and Melbourne Cup Luncheons.

Aged and Elderly Gatherings organised by the Seniors Committee

On the last Tuesday of every month, the volunteers serving on the Seniors Committee arrange a Mass and Luncheon for the Elderly of our Parish to come together for Mass and to enjoy lunch together with music and singing. This Committee hopes to hold further day activities and plan day bus trips and excursions for our elderly.

CTR Welcoming Committee

The Welcoming Committee carry out an important ministry of helping all who attend Sunday and major Feast Masses to feel welcomed and to experience a sense of belonging to the parish family. They offer a smile and word of welcome especially to visitors and those attending for the first time and help offering directions and making all feel welcome.

The Families Committee

On the third Sunday of the Month the Families Committee arranges lunch for parishioners who would like, especially the Young families, to stay and be together straight after 10.30am Mass.

Teens Group Gatherings (13yrs – 17yrs)

The monthly Teens Gatherings help to bring the Teens together to foster their growing in faith, friendships, and joy, fostering the real sense of belonging to their Parish Community.

Young Adults Group (18yrs+)

Our Christ the Redeemer Youth gather regularly after our 6.00pm Mass Sunday Youth Mass. From among the Young Adults in the Parish a Committee is elected with up to 12 members to coordinate the arranging of Youth Social Gatherings, Retreat Weekends, Workshops, Charity Events.

The Alpha Course and Connect Groups

This 11-week Alpha Course with the fortnightly Connect Group meetings that follow have at their core the purpose of connecting participants more closely to their faith and to experience a sense of real belonging and community.

CTR Women’s Group

The Women’s Group hold gatherings on the second Friday of every month, with food and drinks, at times a meal or wine and cheese, to provide a casual setting for fellowship, some faith in put and chance for the women to be supported.

CTR Men’s Group

Meeting on the first Friday of every month, the Men’s group meet together to share a meal and a drink, to build up fellowship and their night includes some faith input in a casual and relaxed atmosphere while building up a spirit of brotherhood.
